Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Chucky & Beau Beau , 6 & 10, needed us when their previous owner passed away.  Both are wonderfully friendly and cheery, housetrained, good with dogs & kids, neutered, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Chucky is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Beau Beau is a Jack Russell Terrier. The boys are strongly bonded, together forever.  Please help find them a loving home.

Update: Feisty was adopted on January 21st! Feisty (the name he arrived with) does not fit this happy-go-lucky, chunky boy.  He is anything but feisty and we love his cheerful, hopeful nature. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, neutered, just under 5 years of age. Feisty needed us when his previous owner was no longer able to care for him.  He had been living exclusively indoors with paper training, so he may need your patience and good guidance to adjust to using the bathroom in the backyard and/or on walks. He enjoys other dogs and needs regular professional grooming care. Feisty needs to trim up for better health.  Please feed him dog food instead of human food, take him for short walks, and consult with your veterinarian for any additional assistance in coming up with a safe, healthy weight loss plan for him.

Update: Baxter was adopted on August 27th! Baxter adores kind children. He is a happy, cheery boy, a tad shy with new people but outgoing with those he knows. Baxter is reportedly a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Cocker Spaniel mix. He is neutered, about 6 years of age, and debuting for adoption today. He is a well-behaved sweetheart, compatible with friendly dogs and housetrained (with a doggie door). Please plan on regular professional grooming care and budget extra accordingly. (We had him groomed for today's big debut.) Spaniel knowledge and/or experience is preferred for his adoption. Baxter needed us when his previous owner lost the family home to foreclosure.

Update: Feisty was adopted on September 18th! Feisty has a spirited name for such a gentle, well-behaved boy. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, neutered, and about 3 years young. Feisty needed rescue when his owner became too ill to care for him any longer. He is chock full of exceptional qualities. He is housetrained, crate-trained, and good with kind children and other dogs. Feisty is a bit plump and on the hefty side, so please consult your veterinarian for guidance on helping him safely and appropriately trim up for better health.
