Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Catherine looks at you with such honesty and vulnerability.    Throughout her weeks of healing and caretaking -- her neck was severely wounded by a dog or coyote attack -- she trusted us to gently help her. Catherine is a wonderfully friendly Rottweiler mix (significantly smaller than most Rottweilers), 4 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    She was at another shelter and needed our help due to her injury.    Catherine has been steadily healing well. She is now ready for a loving, forever home.

Catherine treasures the peaceful, tender moments at your side.  Building ever-stronger relationships with people is what matters to her most.  Catherine is beautiful in spirit and appearance, a blue & tan (dilute tortoiseshell) shorthair with jewel eyes, 8 years of age and spayed, good with other calm cats, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.

We are so happy to see Catherine with lots of energy, fascinated by her environments, and restored to a healthy weight.  This baby girl was emaciated from starvation at the time of rescue, listless from lack of nourishment.  Catherine is a Lop mix bunny, now 7 months of age, spayed, and triumphantly ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in our Lovebugs Room.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for celebrating her recovery with these incredibly cute portraits.

Update: Catherine & Katiana were adopted on August 7th! Two month-old Catherine adores her mother with all of her heart. Katiana (right) was pregnant at the time of rescue, yet another victim of the home foreclosure crisis. The girls are American mixed breed guinea pigs with lovely cocoa coloring. Katiana is still a baby herself, despite being a mother, at approximately 9 months of age. Because of Catherine's young age and their tremendous bond, they need to go home together and have each other forever. You can meet Catherine and Katiana in our brand new "Lovebugs" adoption room for rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, and hamsters.
