Cassie treasures the quiet and gentle moments with you. She is a beautiful spirit, a Siamese mix, 1 year of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . You may remember seeing Cassie earlier this year after she and her babies were rescued. Cassie's babies are doing well too and remain in foster care for a bit longer until ready to be spayed/neutered. Please help find a peaceful, loving forever home for Cassie . She delights in sitting on your lap and being slowly brushed.

Cassie , a devoted mom, and her two 4-week-old babies, Joel and Ruth , were found in a family's garage trying to find protection from the desert heat. Please help find a foster home for Cassie and her kittens for approximately 8 weeks. If you can foster them, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. Cassie is very protective of her babies. They will need a secure area, ideally a bedroom or guest bathroom, separate from any other animals in the home.

Cassie Zeke Zorro Cassie , Zeke , and Zorro are well-socialized and good-natured ferrets seeking a loving, forever home. Ferrets are social animals and since these three get along so beautifully together, we strongly prefer to adopt them as a trio for lifelong companionship. Cassie is a lovely sable, girl, about 2 years of age.  She enjoys chasing toy balls and climbing on your shoulders. Zeke is a cute albino, boy, about 2 years of age.  He likes sleeping under blankets and hiding in cardboard boxes. Zorro is a handsome sable, boy, about 5 years of age.  He is mellow and wise, and loves napping in his hammock. Ferret knowledge is needed for their adoption.  All three are spayed/neutered. Please help us find them a wonderful, responsible owner.

Cassie had reportedly been exploited by a puppy mill for several litters of puppies to sell before being cast away at another shelter when they were done with her.  The shelter that received her asked for our help because she was terrified of people and lacked even basic socialization.  We rescued Cassie and placed her in a very loving foster home for three months.  Though still shy, Cassie has warmed to gentle people and craves petting and cuddling.  Cassie is a pretty Shih-Tzu, about 4 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She enjoys other dogs too.  Please help us find Cassie a wonderful forever home where she continues to bloom and realize she is valuable as a loving individual, not as a breeding machine.

It is profoundly depressing that in 2011 the worst of humans are still drowning kittens.  Cassie was heroically saved by a man who witnessed her and her sibling being thrown into a lake.  The rescuer was able to save Cassie , but her sibling could not be found.  Cassie is now 3 months of age, an orange tabby with an angelic and playful temperament, spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
