Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Jerry Chris Brandon Jerry , Chris , and Brandon are 3 of the 8 rescued motherless kittens who need foster homes until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered.  Please visit Nevada SPCA in person before 5pm and ask for Lonnie if you can help. Jerry was witnessed in the street being run over by a car.  We rushed him to a veterinary hospital.  Though in severe shock from the trauma, miraculously, x-rays showed no bones had been broken and his injuries were limited to bruising across his body. Chris and Brandon were heard crying for help under a bush in someone's backyard, with no sign of their mother. More about foster parenting. Update: Brandon was adopted on October 29th! Brandon is obviously very striking on the outside, but he is beautiful on the inside too. He is a well behaved, sweet Silky Terrier, neutered, about 3 years young, debuting for adoption today. Besides getting along well with other friendly dogs, Brandon is reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door) and compatible with kind, older children. Please budget extra for regular professional grooming care.   This varies with each dog, but planning on roughly quarterly grooming will help keep him clean, feeling good, and looking terrific. Silky Terrier knowledge and/or experience is preferred for his adoption. Brandon was surrendered to us by his previous owner because he "barks".

Update: Brandon was adopted on June 26th! Still a kitten at 8 months, this baby boy has already lost two homes, yet he has done nothing wrong. Brandon is an affectionate boy who needs and desires your attention and approval. Brandon is a steel-grey shorthair, neutered, with lovely yellow-green eyes. He needed us when his previous owner decided he was "not fitting in" the household. But Brandon just wants someone to adore him, stay committed to him, and keep him safely indoors always. Brandon is one of 200 rescued, spayed/neutered cats for adoption in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms at Nevada SPCA. Please visit and ask for him by name.
