Blake

Blake , 9, is a broken-hearted Labrador Retriever needing someone to love. (His previous owner's health declined so severely he could no longer care for Blake.) Blake is good with kids of all ages, as well as adults and dogs, plus housetrained & crate-trained too.    Blake is neutered and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Blake wants to believe in people and he beams when he knows the person he is with is kind and approving. He is an exceptionally cute Chihuahua mix, 1 year young and neutered, good with other dogs, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. At the time of rescue Blake did not want us to touch him. He was done with people. But caretakers earned his trust. A very gentle home and steady lifestyle routine is ideal for his continuing progress.

Blake and Jordan

Jordan and Blake are spirited, acrobatic baby brothers ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  The boys are 3 months of age and neutered. Please kitten-proof your home for their safety. Jordan is very cuddly and Blake is wonderfully chatty.   The boys and their mother, Phoebe, were rescued from the streets. (Phoebe has since been spayed and adopted.)

Blake , 11, young at heart, beams when you invite him for a walk or cuddling.  He is a teddy bear-cute blend of many small breeds, neutered, good with most dogs, and he's awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for Blake's portrait to help him find a loving, forever home.

Blake is a robust junior puppy with a colorful personality and he is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Blake is a Pekingese mix, 10 months of age, now neutered, and compatible with kids and dogs.  He was surrendered by his previous owner who blamed Blake's neglected condition on the family's children.  (Note: We believe that animal care-taking is an adult responsibility.  With oversight and guidance, kids can assist. It can be incredibly devastating for the kids, and perilous for the animals, when people remove animals from their families as a means to punish children.)

Help me gain peace-of-mind and the feeling of belonging.

Update: Blake was adopted on February 27th! A big brother or sister dog could do wonders for Blake . Dogs lacking socialization often adjust so much better, and quicker, when there is a well-balanced dog in the home to help guide them. Blake could hardly be any cuter, a peaches & white, painting-perfect youngster with Toy & Terrier. He is neutered, just a year of age, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued him from another shelter, so we do not have much background information on him. Blake needs to build trust and confidence, in people and in himself. We believe he can thrive in an experienced, adult-only home with a stable and gentle lifestyle routine .
