Sergeant

Image
Sergeant , a sweetheart puppy, loves bonding with cats, dogs, and people.  He is an adorable blend of many breeds, perhaps including Beagle, expected to grow to medium size, now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Sergeant was surrendered by his previous owners who were not allowed to have animals in their apartment. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Willoughby

Image
Willoughby brightens with enormous charm!  He adores people and enjoys bonding.  Willoughby is uniquely attractive, a small Heinz 57 with Jack Russell Terrier and Beagle, 5 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Ranger

Image
Ranger is an earnest baby boy longing to understand where he belongs and who he can love. He is a super sweet and cute Dachshund mix puppy, perhaps with Beagle, 6 months of age, good with other dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Ranger was abandoned in a family's backyard by an unknown person with no sign of responsible ownership.    Please visit and ask for Ranger by name.

Patrick

Image
Patrick , 7, has puppy-like enthusiasm and the most fun-loving spirit.  He is reportedly a blend of Boston Terrier & Beagle, housetrained, good with kids, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Patrick is fine with some dogs, but doesn't want other dogs to take away his favorite toys.  We rescued him from another shelter. Please visit and ask for Patrick by name.

Penelope

Image
Penelope is fond of snuggling at your side while you sleep and rolling over for gentle belly rubs. She is a pretty blend of breeds (likely including Beagle, Dachshund, and King Charles Spaniel), 4 years of age, good with other dogs, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. At the time of her rescue in January, Penelope was pregnant and she had been abandoned at a veterinary clinic. We placed her in a loving foster home and she soon thereafter gave birth to 5 babies. (Her puppies are all thriving well. They will remain in the foster home for a few more weeks before being ready for spay/neuter and adoption.)

Is there a hero for me?

Image
Millie , a 15-year angel, is forlorn and at risk of crashing into a major depression, so we bonded her with another dog to share a kennel and volunteers and staff are giving her as much attention and reassurance as possible.  Please help us find Millie a hero! She is a thoughtful, humble Beagle mix, spayed, and good with cats and dogs.  The circumstances of her homelessness are quite vague, with her previous owner saying that someone gave Millie to him but he was not allowed to have dogs in his apartment.  If you help outreach and share this post, we know a loving person will step forward and provide a stable home for Millie .

The Peppy Puppies debut for adoption today!

Image
Jackie Maddy Moe Moe , and his sisters, Jackie and Maddy , are lovingly nicknamed "The Peppy Puppies" and they are now ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. These angels were just a week of age at the time of rescue.  Their mother, named Joy (who is also ready for adoption and pictured below), and two other adult dogs were rescued too.  Their previous owner said he "can't deal with them". We put The Peppy Puppies immediately into foster care, along with their mom, so that they could be raised and socialized in the comfort of a loving home environment. The Peppy Puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for forever homes.  We believe they are a blend of Beagle, Dachshund, and Spaniel, so we expect them to grow to medium size. The babies can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong companionship. Joy , their mother, is also now spayed, about 3 years of age, a Longhair Dachs...

Promise you will let me sleep on the bed beside you.

Billy is an earnest, playful Beagle mix puppy triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is great with kids and dogs, and reportedly housetrained too. Billy is 10 months of age, neutered, and sporting the richest gold coloring.  At the time of rescue his life was in jeopardy with the parvo disease.  After extensive medical care he made a full and complete recovery!  (Thank you very much to those who donate to Nevada SPCA's advanced medical care fund!)  Billy is now ready to be cherished as a valued member of a forever family.  Please ask for him by name when you visit.

I am loyal and I have unconditional love to share.

Roxy had a heartbreaking experience, but her spirits are back up and she is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. She is a lovely, small (29 pounds) Beagle mix with a long Dachshund-like body, 3 years young, and good with other friendly dogs. Roxy's previous owner died and she was inside the house, alone with the body, for reportedly a few days before the death was discovered. We were very concerned about Roxy becoming dangerously depressed, but volunteers and staff have been showering her with attention and reassurances.
