Bandit and 24 more rescued kittens are ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA! Bandit , rescued as a newborn, survived thanks to the nurturing and bottle-feeding from his foster mom.    He is quite the acrobat and loves his toys and playing with other cats and kittens.    Bandit is now 3 months of age, neutered, and ready for a loving, indoor-only, forever home. Bugsy , Bandit's brother, is also entertaining and full of zest for life. Please kitten-proof your home carefully for his safety.

Bandit is all about belly rubs, big smiles, and loyalty. He likes to know that being at your side is helpful and appreciated. Bandit glows with goodwill for the people he adores. He is a handsome Queensland Heeler, 6 years of age, neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued Bandit from another shelter that asked for our help because he requires a one-dog household.

Bandit is a precious baby boy who loves to romp and play.  He listens to you carefully, always trying to learn.  At the time of his rescue in July, Bandit was just a few weeks old and at another shelter that asked for our help with him and his mom, Olivia, a Yorkshire Terrier mix.  (His dad is unknown.)  We placed them in a wonderful foster home for loving care.  Bandit is now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. (Olivia will soon be available for adoption too.)

Help me forget the hate I have witnessed.

Bandit is a very intelligent, devoted young boy who enjoys playing fetch.  He is a stunningly attractive Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog), 3 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Bandit is good with other dogs and housetrained.  Bandit reportedly has witnessed domestic violence and he won't tolerate fighting that appears threatening.  He needs an experienced, stable, and kind home where horrific memories fade, instead of being triggered again and again by screaming and anger.

My life was saved thanks to your generous support.

Update: Bandit was adopted on February 27th! The dreaded parvo virus can be deadly to puppies, and those without proper vaccines are particularly susceptible to it. At the time of rescue Bandit had been exposed to the virus. We had extensive emergency medical care provided for him and he made a full recovery. This charming, lovable puppy is now ready for adoption, beginning today, his future bright and full of tremendous promise. Bandit is reportedly an Australian Terrier & Poodle mix. He is neutered and approximately 6 months of age. He enjoys other dogs and needs regular brushing and grooming. Please visit and ask for Bandit by name at Nevada SPCA. (Please know you can always ask for animals by name at our front desk and we will bring them to the lobby and courtyard to introduce to you.)

I am full of joy, but sometimes I remember the beatings.

Update: Bandit was adopted on October 9th! Exuberant and fun-loving, Bandit cherishes running and playing almost as much as he enjoys gentle pats and attention. He is a very attractive Shepherd & Retriever mix with an easy smile. He is neutered, about 4 years of age, and ready today for adoption into a lifelong home. Besides being compatible with most other dogs, Bandit is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained. Bandit needs a hero. The victim of severe past abuse, sudden movements that catch him off guard can cause him alarm and fear. A very experienced, adult-only home can help him regain trust and security without lapsing back to old anxieties. But there are no instant fixes, so your patience is essential. A behaviorist or dog trainer can be helpful in setting up stable lifestyle routines Bandit can count on in your home with you.
