Antonio , no longer trembling, wisely smiles at us when we compliment him and explain that everything is going to be okay.  Being accepted is of utmost importance to him.  Antonio is a plump Pointer & Hound mix, 7 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He was at another shelter that asked for our help because of his fear and shaking.

Antonio's previous owner died (his human mom) and he suddenly became intolerant of men. We do not know the circumstances of what occurred, but we have observed his fear of men.  Antonio is a Beagle with enormous loving potential in a stable, gentle home. He is 8 years of age, neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Please share his pictures to help him find a hero.  We look forward to the day when Antonio no longer fears strangers and understands that no one is going to hurt him.

Beatrice , Antonio , and Celia are mesmerized by the colorful toy dangling above them just out of view. These siblings enjoy cuddling with people, wrestling with each other, and pouncing on their toys. They are 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong love and companionship. [Note: Their right ears are tipped. Their previous owner had them spayed/neutered at a spay/neuter clinic that tips the right ears.]

Antonio is a sensitive youngster yearning for stability and peace-of-mind.  He is a Yorkshire Terrier & Silky Terrier mix, 3 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Antonio is good with other dogs and best suited for a home with a big sister or brother dog.  He was surrendered by his previous owner due to separation anxiety.  Antonio fears every goodbye is forever.  There is no instant fix for separation anxiety, but he will improve with time and a very steady lifestyle routine he can always count on (plus there are some other things we can discuss with you that may be helpful, including thundershirts).  Please help find a hero for Antonio , someone who will never fail him.
