Fantastic adoption update on Annie (now Emmie)!

Image
Thank you to Kadee and Debbie, Annie's mom, for these exceptional pictures and the good news: "Annie, now known as Emmie, is such a lovebug! She loves playing with her siblings and cuddling her humans. She gives the best hugs! She has found her forever home!"

Annie is a petite young girl with a broken heart. (Her previous owner went into hospice.) She is a Toy Fox Terrier, 1 year of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    Annie craves being held and comforted.

Annie's favorite things include being a "lap dog" and playing in splash pools.  She is an adorable junior puppy, an American Bulldog, housetrained & crate-trained, good with mature kids, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Annie was surrendered to us because she play too rough with cats.  It appears she can bond fine with dogs, but may get agitated when she sees dogs in the distance who she does not know.

Annie , almost 7 months of age, a bubbly Goldendoodle puppy, is melting everyone's heart with her light-hearted charm! Annie is housetrained, crate-trained, spayed, good with dogs and kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Her previous owners surrendered her to an animal hospital reportedly due to concerns about her food and environmental allergies. She was apparently being treated for OCD and anxiety too. Annie is still a baby and developing, so her adult challenges may be different. The key, we believe, is a trusting relationship with your veterinarian for best guidance on her food plan and emotional development.

Annie's favorite things include running in the yard, curling up at your side on the couch, and bonding with cats & dogs & kittens.  She is an adorable puppy, a Longhair Chihuahua mix with doe-like beauty, 5 months of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.  Annie has been lovingly raised in a wonderful foster home since her rescue.  Please visit and ask for her by name.

You can see so much hope and kindness in Annie's eyes.  This beautiful girl is blooming and now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Annie from another shelter.  She was terrified and wanted nothing to do with people.  But thanks to exceptional foster care, Annie is now housetrained & crate-trained, good with dogs of all sizes, playing fetch and enjoying belly rubs, and realizing that people are capable of incredible kindness.  Annie is a medium-size Heinz 57, likely with Bully or Rottweiler, 3 years young and spayed.  Please help find her a wonderful home where she continues to improve and reach her full loving potential.

I hope you can see that I am a sparkling jewel.

Update: Annie was adopted on June 23rd! Beautiful inside & out, Annie's cheery and loving nature positively shines. She enjoys being on a gentle lap, soaking up adoration. Annie is an American Eskimo, spayed female, about 7 years of age. She enjoys other friendly and sweet dogs. Please be sure to budget extra for periodic grooming care for her. We rescued Annie from another shelter. She debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA today.

We need to always keep each other in sight.

We honor the very strong bonds adult animals make with one another and require them to be adopted together (when splitting them up could cause emotional trauma or severe depression). Annie & Mushu are not just sister and brother, but they are also soul-mates. These two attractive Shar-Peis prefer to always be touching and they sleep curled up together. If out of each others' eyesight, even for a minute, they will cry and show distress. Annie & Mushu are well-behaved, housetrained, and kennel-trained. They are approximately 2 years of age. They are wary of strangers, but once they trust you both are very loving and may even try to crawl in your lap to get close for affection. Therefore, a quieter home with a stable routine is probably the best fit for them, plus an owner who is knowledgeable about Shar-Peis. Annie & Mushu were abandoned by their owners who lost their home to foreclosure. A temporary care-taker helped care for them until we were able to make room ...

I would love to bond with another rabbit for lifelong companionship.

Social like we are, rabbits generally also long to be with others of their kind, and enjoy developing long-time bonds that grow and bloom. Annie is spayed. Breeding is unconscionable, especially in this extremely severe animal overpopulation crisis in southern Nevada. But bunnies are social, regardless of fertility. If you have a spayed or neutered rabbit also looking for a mate and life companion, please visit Nevada SPCA's Rabbit & Guinea Pig Rescue Room and arrange a "bunny date" with the help of our staff, Brandy and Melina. Annie is a darling youngster, approximately 18 months of age, who we rescued from another shelter. She is an American mix with a brown-gold and grey-blue coat. Annie has excellent litter habits and she is in bliss each day with her daily greens and Timothy hay. Annie is one of more than 70 spayed/neutered bunnies for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
