Amy

Amy is blooming beautifully and on her way to reaching her full loving potential. Every day she builds a bit more confidence and self-esteem. Amy is an Agouti bunny, 2 years young and spayed, and ready for adoption in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA . We rescued her from another shelter and suspect that she survived a loveless, neglectful home. At the time of rescue she was so timid she would freeze in place and refuse to move. Now, Amy explores her habitat with ease and hops up to new people she perceives as gentle to meet them.

Amy needs a hero.

Amy , 3 years young and blind, yearns for comfort and reassurance.    Sit by her calmly and she steps close to be in your presence and feel better at ease. Amy is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, now spayed and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .    She is housetrained and crate-trained (once she memorizes your home and yard), good with other dogs (but may accidentally step on small dogs), and good with older and gentle kids.    Amy was surrendered by her previous owner who cited becoming pregnant as the reason. Please share Amy's pictures to help find her a hero. Thank you.

Amy offers a bright smile to everyone she meets.  Tell her she's sweet and she will stroll to you for a hug.  Amy is wonderfully friendly and amiable, a medium-size Heinz 57 with Aussie, 1 year young and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space.

Aaron, Amy, and Archer

Aaron Amy Archer Aaron , Amy , and Archer are adorable babies debuting for adoption this morning at Nevada SPCA.  The siblings are 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.  Please kitten-proof your home for their safety. They have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since their rescue (when abandoned by their previous owners).  Amy and Archer are sporty and playful, while Aaron is shy and better suited for a calm home environment.  Please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong love and companionship.

Don't tell Amy that she is not a lap dog. First one paw, then the other, then all of her 87 pounds sneak onto your lap for a great big, warm hug. Amy is eager to bring your more kindness into this world.  She loves people and she is exceptional with other dogs too.    Amy is a plump blend of Rottweiler & Shepherd, 3 years of age and spayed, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued this sweetheart from another shelter that ceased its adoption program.

"The Little Women Puppies"

Amy Elizabeth Josephine Margaret Amy , Elizabeth , Josephine , and Margaret are precious, huggable baby sisters debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The girls are named after the sisters in the classic novel and movie "Little Women". Their previous owners said their mother is an English Mastiff and their father is a Neapolitan Mastiff.  We rescued the girls and, in turn, they fixed the parents so there would be no further breeding. The puppies are now 3 months of age and spayed.  They will almost certainly grow to very large size, so please plan and budget accordingly. The girls can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

Amy - a senior Boston Terrier who needs a hero.

Image
Will you please help us find a hero for Amy ?  She's a senior Boston Terrier, quite spunky for 12 years of age, a spayed girl with a very sweet and humble temperament.  Amy is mostly deaf and at the time of rescue she had a growth on her forehead and dental problems.  Consistent hand signals are important for communication with her, and her growth has been removed and her dental cleaning and extractions completed.  Amy is now ready for a loving, forever home.  She is reportedly housetrained and good with cats, dogs, and kids.  Please ask for her by name at Nevada SPCA.

Why did I lose my family when I did nothing wrong?

Update: Amy was adopted on February 4th! Mellow and sweet, Amy is a beautiful senior looking to share her devotion and loyalty with someone new. She is a Border Collie, spayed female, about 10 years of age, debuting for adoption today. Amy needed us because her previous family moved into an apartment that does not allow dogs. This is particularly tragic because there are numerous apartment complexes throughout the valley that allow dogs of various sizes. Amy is very well-behaved. She is good with cats & dogs & mature kids, and housetrained & crate-trained. Please do not turn away from Amy or any other seniors just based on their age alone. Seniors have a world of unconditional love to share too.
