Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Amber is very content in your arms, purring while being reassured, knowing you approve of her.  She is a darling girl, a young shorthair with a whimsical mustache, 2 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Amber had five young babies and they were homeless. We placed them in a wonderful foster home so Amber could raise her kittens in the peace and comfort of a home environment. (Her five babies have since been spayed/neutered and adopted.)  Please visit and ask for Amber in person.

Amber and her mother and siblings were just rescued and need a loving foster home please. The babies are only 5 weeks of age and need to remain with their mother for nurturing care and socialization. Amber is now healed and very eager to love. She is exceptionally friendly and we believe she has the temperament to be terrific with children. Amber , 3, was rescued in January near a busy road with a very deep tissue cut to her left shoulder (cause unknown) and she was bleeding profusely. We rushed her to an animal hospital for emergency care. In the months since she has healed well. Even her scar (visible in picture 3) is now minimal in comparison. Amber is a large Bully mix, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

We love Am ber's jovial personality and she is an inspiration.     She concentrates to walk, often high-stepping or doing exaggerated steps, due to neurological deficiencies (which her veterinarian believes she was born with).    But Amber is ent husiastic to walk with you as she can, overjoyed to be spending fun time with you.    She is a lovely young Bully mix, 3 years of age and now spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Amber was found on the streets of Henderson, in estrus ("in heat"), with no sign of responsible ownership.    Please help us find her a hero.
