Conan

Image
Conan is a regal youngster with a down-to-earth personality and fun-loving spirit.  He loves playing in water, so please consider a wading pool of some kind for endless hours of pleasure.  Conan is an Alaskan Malamute and Siberian Husky mix, 2 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  He was rescued from another shelter that asked for our help. There was apparently at least one violent episode against him from his previous owner.

Yukon

Image
Yukon , a majestic Alaskan Malamute, shines when he feels safe. Yukon is good with other large dogs, 6 years of age and neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Yukon has advanced special needs due to very severe abuse. We rescued him from another shelter and his background is otherwise unknown. But his great fear of strangers and slamming doors, along with other behavior indications, suggest repeated extreme trauma in his past We believe in Yukon's enormous loving potential. Please help find him a hero. At this time we do not believe he can be adopted to a family and instead requires an adult-only home with an owner who has advanced behavior training skills (such as a K-9 officer, military officer, professional trainer or behaviorist, or similar).

Kodiak

Image
Kodiak , 9, recovering from starvation, builds a bit more hope, energy, and muscle mass each day.    Please keep him on premium, nutritious meals and treats to continue his progress (as he has much more body tissue to add in the weeks and months to come). Kodiak is a regal Alaskan Malamute and he is housetrained, neutered, good with other dogs (of all sizes, reportedly) and cats (unconfirmed), fine with older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter.

I think of myself as a giant teddy bear.

Baby is a young Alaskan Malamute with majestic good looks and she is debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is very kind and lovable, blessed with incredible charisma. We rescued Baby from another shelter where she did not qualify for adoption.  She has hip dysplasia (abnormal formation of her hip sockets) that may result in advanced medical care needed later in her life. Baby is spayed, about 1 year of age, and she may be compatible with other dogs (who do not jump on her or play too rough). Please help us find Baby a hero who can tend to her needs throughout her entire life.
