Izzy and 20 more rescued kittens will be ready for adoption tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am at Nevada SPCA ! Izzy's favorite things include tossing her toys, playing with other cats, and cuddling up with stuffed animals.    She is an adorable tabby & white baby girl, 3 months of age, and now spayed.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.   Izzy was found on the streets without her mother.

Gypsy , a brokenhearted sweetheart, needs someone to love.  Her previous owner passed away and she does not understand what has happened.  Gypsy is a kind girl, a Shih-Tzu, 6 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Tootsie , 11, a valentino, wraps his extra toes gently around your neck and plants cat kisses on your cheeks.  He is a handsome boy with jade eyes, great with other cats, neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Tootsie was at another shelter that asked for our help.  He is on daily medication (hyperthyroid) and eagerly awaits a hero.

Matisse , a polite gentleman adjusting well to life with three legs, treasures peaceful moments in your lap and at your side.  He is a distinguished blend of small breeds, including Spaniel and Toy, 5 years of age, housetrained, good with dogs and kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  At the time of rescue Matisse's front right leg was broken beyond repair due to a dangerous fall. He has healed well from the amputation and he's ready to join a loving, forever home.

Shakespeare & Chaucer , baby boys found in a family's backyard woodpile, are 2 of the 30 rescued motherless kittens so far today who need foster heroes please! Billie Jean , still a baby herself at 11 months of age, was found homeless on the streets with her four kittens.    She raised her children in a comfortable, loving foster home. ( Billie Jean's babies will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come.) Billie Jean is a social girl and greets you at the door upon your return home.    She is great with other cats.    Billie Jean is a gorgeous shorthair with saucer-like golden eyes, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .

Henry , a starvation and extreme neglect survivor, earnestly appreciates all kindness. While recovering in a foster home, he bounced in place, leaping as high in the air as he could, overwhelmed with anticipation while his foster mom prepared his meals. Henry is a Maltese & Powder Puff mix, 6 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He can walk and run well, but has mild neurological damage and sometimes spins in rapid circles. Henry doesn't like his face being touched, so an experienced, adult-only home is needed please. Henry needed us when his previous owner abandoned him with a roommate in terrible condition.

Caesar is an amiable, vibrant youngster overflowing with joy and kindness.  He is a cute Chihuahua & Toy blend, 1 year of age and neutered, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Caesar needed us due to his previous owner's declining health.

Angus & Jordan , brother and sister, are spunky babies ready to join a loving, forever, indoor-only home where they will be valued as members of the family.  The kittens are 3 months of age, spayed/neutered and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Angus likes playing soccer with his toys and Jordan enjoys being cradled like a baby.  They are two of a large group of kittens rescued from another shelter that ran out of space.  Please visit and ask for Angus and Jordan by name.

Honey Bear becomes deeply devoted to the people he loves.  He is a handsome Rottweiler, 7 years of age, housetrained & crate-trained, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Honey Bear thrives with order, routine, and stability.  He was surrendered by his previous owner who cited the end of a romantic relationship and and heavy travel schedule.  Please visit and ask for Honey Bear by name.

Meilani , a graceful 3-legged sweetheart, was discovered in an abandoned apartment without water, food, or air-conditioning.  She is compatible with cats and dogs.  Meilani runs, jumps, and plays with her toys like she is still a kitten.  She is a beautiful spirit, a torbie tabby, 5 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  (The cause of her missing front right leg is unknown.)

Pierre , 12, a cheery little gentleman, hopes you will consider accepting his love and adoration.  He is a Poodle mix, housetrained, good with cats & dogs & kids, neutered, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Pierre was surrendered by his previous owner who said her living situation had changed.  Please share Pierre's post and help him find a stable home where he will be cherished.

The " Sweet Pea Trio " -- delightful baby bunnies -- need a foster home please for 2 months for socialization and loving care.    They are about 7 weeks of age and rescued from another shelter that asked for our help. If you can foster and provide them with daily fresh greens (they have salads every afternoon), please visit Nevada SPCA in person. Thank you.

Eleanor is a precious baby girl who loves being held, praised, and cuddled.    She is now 3 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA . You may remember her mother, Betty, a Shih-Tzu & Terrier mix, who was pregnant when rescued earlier this year. (Betty has since been spayed and adopted.) Betty raised Eleanor in a wonderful foster home with cats and dogs.    Betty, Eleanor's mom (already adopted)

Rambo's favorite things include bouncing ping pong balls off his nose, napping in hammocks, and exploring empty boxes.  He is an outgoing and friendly ferret, 3 years of age and neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Rambo was surrendered by his previous owner who cited an allergy to ferrets.

Cooper and Carla , brother and sister kittens with mesmerizing eyes, are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  The babies have been lovingly raised in a wonderful foster home with cats and dogs since their rescue from homelessness.  Cooper enjoys dashing through play tunnels and Carla favors toys that crinkle and roll. Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.

Russo is a friendly boy pleading for a stable home.  He was abandoned outside of a nursing home and begged the staff there for help and food.  Russo is now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Lovebug Room. He is a Harlequin bunny, 2 years of age.

Dudley & Dolly , devoted siblings, like to live indoors & outdoors, swim in wading pools, and enjoy their meals and treats in separate bowls.  They are exceptionally friendly youngsters and bonded for life.  Their previous owner reportedly acquired them around Easter when they were babies. Both are completely dependent on people for survival.  Please share their post to help them find a social home where they will get lots of quality time daily.  They are large, American Pekin ducks, bred by some for eating, so their lifetime safety and well-being is of utmost concern when finding them a forever home. Elijah , a resplendent junior puppy, is charismatic and devoted to those who are sweet to him.  He is a Siberian Husky, 9 months of age, good with other large dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Elijah was surrendered for chewing, but this is a natural and necessary puppy behavior, so the key is directing his attention to toys he can safely chew.

Clover sprints like a cheetah and climbs cat towers with agility.  This sporty baby boy is fearless and curious about everything, especially people, cats, and toys that slither.  Clover is a lovable kitten, 3 months of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  He was rescued from another shelter that ran out of space.

Taffy , a bashful junior puppy, wants tons of reassuring hugs.  She is most content when she can lean her head against your body and feel safe.  Taffy is a Poodle & Shih-Tzu, 7 months of age and spayed, good with other sweet dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  At the time of rescue Taffy had a broken leg (from an unknown massive trauma).  She asks for a calm home environment where she will be showered with adoration.

Shane , a baby bundle of love, perks his ears up when you compliment him or tell him it's playtime.  He is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix puppy, 3 months of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Shane was surrendered by his previous owner for being too playful with the family's small dogs.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Annalee Apple Darla Apple , a young and demure Poodle mix, was homeless and pregnant when her previous owners moved away without her.    In February she gave birth to two girls, Annalee and Darla . Their father is unknown, but suspected of being an Italian Greyhound.    Apple and her daughters are now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA . Apple (1 year of age) has a lovely spirit and Annalee and Darla (4 months of age) are affectionate and playful.

Vivien , 12, relishes purring in gentle arms and rolling around happily in catnip.  She is a gorgeous Siamese with hypnotic blue eyes, previously declawed, spayed, fine with calm cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Vivien was found abandoned on the streets. Her microchip ID traced to her previous owner, but this person refused her.  Vivien is a treasure and deserves to be cherished as a valued member of a loving family.

Jelly , 12, shines with immense joy and hope!  She brightens the spirits of everyone she meets.  Jelly is a delightful senior, a tri-color Chihuahua mix, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  She was at another shelter that asked for our help. Please help us find her a wonderful home.

Goldie's eyes reveal her desperation for kindness.  She looks to new people carefully, with both fear and hope, trying to assess their intentions.  Goldie is head-shy and we believe someone hurt her terribly in a previous home.  She is a lovely Whippet mix, 1 year young, good with other dogs, now spayed and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Goldie was at another shelter that asked for our help due to her timidity.

Mr. Burns , 17, blind, weighing only 4 pounds, politely asks for your consideration. Kind, gentle hands help him feel secure.    He is a Chihuahua, good with other dogs, neutered, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Mr. Burns was at another shelter that asked for our help after he was found abandoned on the streets.

Luigi , a thoughtful and gentle Italian Greyhound, pleads for peace-of-mind.  He is 3 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Luigi was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity. He was reportedly the victim of neglect from a suspected breeder.  Please help Luigi build self-esteem and confidence. A big sister or brother dog could be wonderful for him adjustment too.

Molly likes holding hands and expressively uses her front arms to hug while cuddling.  She is young at heart at 9 years of age, a medium-size Heinz 57 with Kelpie, good with other dogs, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .  Molly was at another shelter that ran out of space and asked for our help.  Please come visit her today!

Tom and John are babies and already becoming experts at playing hide & seek, climbing cat towers, and acrobatically pouncing on their toys.  The brothers were found motherless and frightened in a family's backyard.  They are now 3 months of age, neutered, and ready for adoption into loving forever home. Zachariah & Zsa Zsa , just under 8 weeks of age, are acrobatic kittens with friendly personalities. They need a loving foster home for approximately one month please.

Heath chirps to get attention and to express his enormous anticipation when he sees us arriving with his daily afternoon salads.  He is a super cute baby boy, an American guinea pig, 7 months of age, and ready for adoption in the Lovebug Room at Nevada SPCA .  Heath asks to become a valued, lifelong member of your family.

Coco , now well and eyes sparkling, wants someone wonderful to love forever.    She likes crawling, demurely, to your feet and then asks you to pick her up and hold her.    Coco is a Yorkshire Terrier mix, 1 year young and spayed, good with other dogs, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . At the time of rescue, from a suspected breeder, Coco was in peril from parvovirus. We rushed her into emergency medical care at an animal hospital, and thanks to extensive treatment made possible by generous donors, veterinarians were able to save her life.

Olga's favorite things include dashing through kitten play tunnels, cuddling up with other cats, and carefully exploring new rooms.  She is a delightful baby girl, a tabby kitten, 3 months of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Olga has been lovingly raised in a foster home since her rescue from the streets.

Birdy , an angel rescued from a dumpster, beams with hope and blesses everyone she meets with bright smiles. A person walking by a dumpster saw a nose bobbing up and realized a dog was trapped inside and trying with all her might to jump out. Birdy is a cheery Powder Puff mix, great with people and dogs, 6 years of age and spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .

Gigi does "happy feet" when she hears soothing voices reassuring her that she is safe.  She is a stunning orange tabby medium-hair, 2 years young and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .  Gigi likes other cats if they respect her personal space.  She was rescued from a previous owner who had banished her to living in a garage.  Please visit and ask for Gigi by name.

Three more of Betsy's babies -- Leonardo , Florence , and Rome -- debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA ! Leonardo plays fetch and sleeps on his back with his legs sticking straight up. Florence and Rome are all about cuddling and puppy kisses. The babies are now almost 4 months of age and spayed/neutered. We rescued Betsy and her newborns earlier this year from another shelter that asked for our help. Betsy is a Queensland Heeler mix and the father of the puppies is unknown. (Betsy has already been spayed and adopted.)
