Red Rock's smiling dimples and positive glow overshadow the scarring across his body. He shines with hope. Nutritious food has resulted in a gleam in his coat. The magical bonds of soul-mates may know no bounds with size, age, or temperament. These two boys are different in almost every way, but Alex is only happy when he's at the side of his much smaller companion. The boys are housetrained, neutered, and compatible with cats and dogs.    Alex is 2 years young, a handsome tuxedo-clad blend of Retriever & Shepherd, shy and intelligent.    Patches is outgoing and confident, 7 years of age, a plump Jack Russell Terrier mix. The boys debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    They needed us when their previous owners moved away without them.    Please help find them a wonderful home where they remain together forever.

Jimmy listens intently to your words and calms you with his gentle presence.  He is an exceptionally attractive tabby, 1 year young, neutered, previously declawed (front paws), and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Jimmy is best suited for a quiet home and he is compatible with other sweet cats.  He needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.

Justin's angelic face very accurately reflects his immense goodness and kindness. He wants everyone around him to be just as happy as he is. Justin is young-at-heart at 11 years of age.  He's a Retriever mix, neutered boy.   He's asking for a hero and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Justin is sporty and eager to be at your side, but content to share quiet moments of devotion too.    It seems he needs a one-dog household.

Crystal Norma Stephen Crystal , Norma , and Stephen are three of six dogs confiscated from the abandoned home of a suspected backyard breeder.    These three debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and the remaining three will be ready too in the days to come. All six were the victims of unconscionable neglect. They are equally surprised and afraid to receive attention and loving care.  They need heroes who will be patient with them and committed to helping them reach their full loving potentials in stable and compassionate homes. Crystal is a Toy & Terrier mix, spayed girl, 3 years young. Norma is a Toy Poodle, spayed girl, 7 years of age.  Norma is mostly blind, so please take very thorough safety precautions for her in your home and yard. Stephen is a Toy & Terrier mix, neutered boy, 4 years of age.

Georgia would love to become the baby sister to a friendly and lonely adult cat.  She likes wrestling and cuddling with other felines. Georgia adores people too and appreciates every new toy you give her.  She is a gorgeous blue-grey longhair kitten, 7 months of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.

Wyatt is an affectionate, social youngster debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Miniature Poodle mix, 3 years of age and neutered, and great with other friendly dogs.  Wyatt likes to be included and he's happy when he gets to join you for daily adventures.  He was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered).

Damon asks for a peaceful and very stable home, free of violence or screaming. He is recovering from abuse and neglect.  Damon is an American Eskimo Dog, 7 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Damon from another shelter that asked for our help due to his fear of people.  Please help find a hero for Damon .

Mary is 1 of 15 rescued kittens ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA, as well as more than 100 sweet adults cats of all ages and personality types. Mary is a bashful Ragdoll and lynx point Siamese mix kitten, 3 months of age and spayed.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.   She loves playing with other cats and warms to people who are gentle with her.    A calm home environment is likely ideal for Mary .

Beowulf gets mesmerized by his toys. When he is too tired to play with them any longer, he'll cuddle them and fall asleep. Beowulf also adores people and other cats.    He is a cute orange tabby kitten, 3 months of age, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety.   Beowulf needed us because one of his previous owners was allergic to him.

Pez is ready to build a magical bond with you that will strengthen every week, month, and year based on trust and respect. Lucy & Mina are precious young girls who need a stable, loving forever home.  Both are Crested guinea pigs, about 1 year of age.  Lucy is larger and more confident. She likes nose tickles and will approach you first. Mina is bashful and likes Luc y to check out new people and situations first.  The girls are strongly bonded, together forever. Please ask for them by name in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA. The girls were "unwanted" by their previous owner.

Ynez , an affectionate junior puppy, likes being held close, comforted against your chest and shoulder. She is a Chihuahua puppy with a beautiful spirit and chocolate & white coloration, 10 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Ynez enjoys other dogs. She was found abandoned in a park with no sign of responsible ownership.

Logan has the brightest eyes for his future and his whole body wiggles with joy when it's time for a meal or a walk.  This sporty boy has made a terrific recovery from abuse thanks to socialization from dedicated volunteers and staff.  Logan is a large blend of many breeds and naturally clad in a tuxedo, about 7-8 years of age, neutered, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Logan adores people, but he still cannot be around other dogs.  Please help find him a one-dog household where he will only see the best of human nature.

Blake , 11, young at heart, beams when you invite him for a walk or cuddling.  He is a teddy bear-cute blend of many small breeds, neutered, good with most dogs, and he's awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for Blake's portrait to help him find a loving, forever home.

Vanessa is an independent young girl, but she cherishes the quality time you set aside for her daily and revels in the attention.   She is a pretty silver tabby, 2 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Vanessa prefers having people all to herself and we believe she is best suited for a one-cat household.

When Lolly finds someone gentle, she sticks to them and asks to be picked up and comforted.  Though generally shy, she is outgoing and perky in the arms of people she trusts.  Lolly is a shorthair with especially pretty eyes, about 6 years of age and spayed, fine with cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue she had been taken by her previous owners to a veterinary hospital to be destroyed, but the veterinarian refused.  Please visit and ask for Lolly by name.

Legolas wants to give you all of his love and be your hero too. He is a friendly Labrador Retriever, 3 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    Legolas was at another shelter that asked for our help because he is picky about other dogs. Our experience is that he gets along well with most dogs.    We believe Legolas has the temperament to be terrific with mature kids.

Blaze relishes the leisurely lifestyle and finds the greatest happiness in the peaceful moments.  An ideal afternoon may include multiple naps with intermittent ear scratches and cuddling.  Blaze is a handsome British Shorthair, 8 years of age and neutered, fine with other cats, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please visit and ask for him by name.

Lia , a junior puppy with a beautiful soul, loves cuddling. She will lay her head on your shoulder or tuck under your chin to bond and feel reassured.  She is a medium-size blend of Border Collie or Smooth Collie with Labrador Retriever, about 5 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Lia was at another shelter that asked for our help because of derogatory statements made by her previous owner about her compatibility with other dogs.  Our experience is that she enjoys other sweet dogs and may love to have a big sister or brother dog for guidance. Ocean , a rowdy junior puppy who doesn't know his strength, needs your kind guidance and training so that he can learn good behaviors.  He's all about fun and leaps on people exuberantly for hugging and playing. Ocean is 9 months of age, a neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was at another shelter and needed our help.

Paul wonders when someone will come and accept his unconditional devotion.  He is an intelligent, sensitive boy longing for a family and peace-of-mind.  Paul is a a gold Siberian Husky & Retriever mix, 8 years of age and neutered, awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is housetrained, fine with older kids, and compatible with some dogs (if fed separately).  Please share Paul's picture and help find him a wonderful, forever home.

Guy , a social and handsome cream tabby, enjoys chasing laser pointers and finding the coziest of spaces for his catnaps.  Tell him about your thoughts and feelings and he will "meow" back his answers to keep the conversation going and help you.  Guy is 7 years of age, a neutered boy, good with cats and dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He needed us when his previous owner passed away.

Clifford is a self-assured boy who loves sharing his smiles with people.  Tell him it's time for a walk, a treat, or a hug and his whole face lights up enthusiastically.  Clifford is a handsome blend of many large breeds, perhaps including Akita and Shepherd, and he is about 7 years of age, neutered, and awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA. Please help find Clifford a one-dog household where he can fully devote himself to his new family.

Sweet Pea , a gentle soul, cannot comprehend why her unconditional love was rejected.  She is a Shih-Tzu, 8 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Sweet Pea became homeless because her previous owner's new girlfriend didn't like her.  Sweet Pea deserves to belong to someone who will cherish her and regard her as a valued, lifelong member of the family.

Stanford is a bashful boy building confidence and he is ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Yorkshire Terrier mix, 6 years of age, neutered, and good with other dogs. Stanford was found on the streets in poor condition (hernia, dental problems, no sign of responsible ownership).  He is healing very well physically and making good progress emotionally too.  Please help find someone gentle for Stanford to love.

Lola is a gorgeous, easy-going girl ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is happiest sitting at your side and watching everyone's activities or looking out the windows to see what is happening in the neighborhood.  Lola is fine with cats and dogs, and we believe she has the temperament to be great with mature kids. She is 4 years of age and spayed.

Randy loves kids! He is a Shih-Tzu & Poodle mix with a cute underbite, 5 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Randy is housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with other friendly dogs. Randy's hind right leg was broken (presumably from being hit by a car, as his previous owners would allow him to lay in the street by their apartment complex) and healed improperly because they did not provide him with needed veterinary care. Randy can use his hind right leg, but usually does not.    Please help find him a stable, responsible home where he is treasured and loved dearly.

Talulah Lexus & Mercedes Talulah is fascinated by shoe strings and can turn almost any small object into a great toy. She is terrific with cats, ferrets, and puppies. Talulah is 5 years of age and spayed. Lexus & Mercedes are strongly-bonded girls, together forever. They love chasing each other and playing hide-and-seek. They are 3 & 5 years of age, spayed, and adore people.

Dania , a broken-hearted and 151-pound girl, is trying to make sense of a world where you can lose the ones you love.  She is a Great Dane, 5 years of age and spayed, housetrained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Dania likes older, mature, gentle kids.  She lost her previous home for not getting along with the family's other dog.  Please help find someone for Dania to love, who she can always count on.

Drake and Josh , baby brothers, dedicate most of their waking moments to playing and exploring. When we rescued them from another shelter they were fearful and unsocialized. Their foster parents played with them for hours on end, accelerating their socialization and development. Both boys now purr when you hold them. They are 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please carefully kitten-proof your home for their safety.

Marcus enjoys exploring new rooms carefully and studying his toys.  He is a bright-eyed, super cute lynx point Siamese mix kitten, 3 months of age and neutered, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. Marcus has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since his rescue (discovered as a motherless newborn).

Cotton & Mona Lisa , humble and well-behaved girls, politely ask for a new home where they can remain together forever.  Both are housetrained and compatible with cats, dogs, and kids.  Cotton is 5 years of age, a Terrier & Toy mix. Mona Lisa is a Maltese, 10 years of age.  The girls are completely devoted to one another, but still certainly have plenty more love for you.

Cece yearns to feel accepted and to belong to someone who will treasure her and always keep her safe.  She is a tender-hearted Chihuahua, 5 years of age and spayed, housetrained, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Cece was in another shelter that asked for our help.

Bungee's light-hearted spirit emerges a bit more each day and he shows interest now in toys and activities. He has been healing steadily since August. Jordan , 11, is a mellow and gentle boy who needs a new home and a fresh start.   He is a handsome, leonine brown tabby, neutered boy, great with other cats, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Jordan was previously declawed (front paws).   He needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.  Please help find Jordan a peaceful home environment.

Dougie , 17, just rescued and needs a foster home. Please help spread the word for a hero. Our experience is that dogs of his age being surrendered are at risk of severe depression, especially during the first 48 hours. We are very eager to get him in a calm, comfortable home environment. Dougie is housetrained and good with other dogs. He is good with children too, but his previous owners said they did not want the kids to see him die.  (Dougie is not ailing or suffering.)  He is an Italian Greyhound mix, neutered boy, and he likes being held and reassured.
