Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Update: Bella was adopted on November 20th! It is ironic that humans are considered the "higher beings" when dogs are the ones most able to give the ultimate gift -- unconditional love. Bella , a well-behaved, jolly girl who gives kisses, lost her home due to the following excuse: "too large for house". But on the bright side, this is Bella's opportunity to find a committed, proper new home where her love will never be taken for granted again. Bella is a plump Beagle mix, spayed, about 6 years of age and very young at heart. Besides being good with other dogs, she is reportedly housetrained. Please feed her canine food (instead of human food) to help her trim off some weight. Bella debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Ashlin was adopted on June 30th! Ashlin's eyes reveal her anxiety. A victim of severe neglect, life seems quite serious to her. At the time of rescue she was a bundle of knots and matted filth. We had her professionally groomed and she now sports a Poodle cut. But Ashlin is actually a Bichon Frise. She is spayed, just 2 years of age, and debuting for adoption today. We believe Ashli n will do best in a quiet, gentle home. Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming care. She is compatible with other sweet dogs. In fact, we suspect she will gain self-esteem and confidence faster with another dog (or dogs) in the home.

Update: Christie Brinkley was adopted on July 3rd! Christie Brinkley is a gorgeous, adventurous youngster. Besides dogs, she is reportedly compatible with cats and kind children of all ages. Christie Brinkley is a Terrier mix with stunning coloring, spayed, and about 2 years of age. She is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained. This well-behaved girl lost her previous family when they believed she had mange. However, we had a skin specialist evaluate Christie Brinkley and she was diagnosed instead with food allergies (no mange at all). Now on a special diet, her skin and coat are looking terrific. Update: Ziggy was adopted on July 23rd! Like countless other companion animals, Ziggy was dumped at a government shelter due to no fault of his own. We rescued him from there and he debuts at Nevada SPCA for adoption today. Ziggy is both affectionate and aloof, depending on his particular mood. But Ziggy is always brilliantly attractive, a Longhair Dachshund with a winning smile. He is neutered and about 4 years of age. Dachshund knowledge and/or experience is preferred for his adoption. Ziggy enjoys other friendly dogs and needs regular brushing and grooming.

Update: Rockwell was adopted on July 5th! Rockwell's beaming smiles accurately reflect his good, cheery nature. He is a curious, sweet boy and he has a dynamic personality. We rescued Rockwell from another shelter. He is a Terrier & Poodle mix, neutered, about 18 months young. Rockwell enjoys other friendly dogs and he needs regular professional grooming care. Update: Capone and Max were adopted on July 22nd! These tiny brothers were in grave danger at the time of rescue, sick with the parvo virus. Their previous owner was unwilling or unable to pay for the emergency care needed to save their lives. We had this care provided for them, and after extensive treatment, both made full recoveries. Capone and Max are now having crazy fun, enjoying playtime with great zest and zeal. Capone and Max are reportedly mixes of Boston Terrier and Chihuahua. The boys are neutered, approximately 3 months of age, and debuting for adoption today. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection. Capone and Max can be adopted separately. But please consider adopting the boys together for lifelong companionship. Our ability to save and protect innocent life is 100% dependent on caring people like you. Update: Loki was adopted on August 28th! Imagine how agonizing it is for social dogs like Loki -- and all other dogs for that matter -- to be banished to living solely outdoors, unable to join and be with the people they love and depend on. Then, dogs like Loki are dumped at shelters or in the desert because they develop "destructive" behaviors out of their desperate boredom and loneliness, many perishing each year at government shelters. We believe dogs need indoor access so they can be proper, cherished members of their families. In our desert climate, this is not just an ideal, but a necessity for their comfort and survival. Loki is ready to shine with loving care. He has a sugary sweet personality and he wants to be a lap dog to soak up your adoration, licking you in gratitude for letting him into your life. Update: Recess was adopted on July 3rd! This beautiful girl was abandoned in a school yard, pregnant and in great distress. We named her Recess and found a loving foster home for her. Her puppies are still in foster care, all doing well and getting socialization, and we expect them to be ready for adoption later this summer. Recess has a gentle personality and she adores kind people giving her lots of attention and affection. Recess is a petite Beagle, about 3 years of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today. She enjoys other friendly dogs. Please plan on plenty of walks and daily playtime with her. Beagle knowledge and/or experience is preferred for her adoption.

Update: Christy & Amelia were adopted on July 6th! Christy & Amelia are precious, tender-hearted girls with gentle natures. The sisters are Shih-Tzus, spayed, approximately 9 years of age, debuting for adoption today. We rescued Christy & Amelia from another shelter and, unfortunately, we do not have much background information on them. But we do know they will thrive best in a calm home. Also, they are compatible with other sweet dogs and both need regular professional grooming care. Christy & Amelia are very strongly bonded. They need to continue to remain together forever.

Update: Harley was adopted on July 5th! Harley is a super playful, athletic, fun-loving, and curious youngster debuting today for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is a handsome Chocolate Labrador Retriever, neutered male, 3 years young. Harley is reportedly housetrained and used to living predominantly indoors. We rescued Harley from another shelter. His previous owner gave no reason for surrendering him there. We believe he will do best with dog obedience training. This will help channel his high energy levels into good behaviors. Update: Milo & Bert were adopted on July 10th! Father and son, Milo & Bert are lovable, comical guinea pigs who are grateful to be receiving good care, including clean water and fresh daily veggies. They were rescued from a foreclosed home. They had run out of water and food, and mold was growing in their cage. Both Milo & Bert have beautiful chocolate coats. They are perhaps Peruvian & American breed mixes. Milo, though a father, is still a baby himself at about 8 months of age. Milo is 2 months of age. Milo & Bert need an experienced home because of their young ages. Please read up on guinea pig care and ensure you can make a lifetime commitment to them.

Update: Ridley was adopted on July 10th! At the time of rescue Ridley was a bundle of filthy, matted knots. But underneath all of the mess and tangles, shaved away by a groomer, emerged this beautiful little sweetheart. Ridley is most likely a Lhasa Apso & Miniature Schnauzer mix. He is a neutered male, 2 years young, and he debuts for adoption today. He adores playing with other dogs and cuddling with kind people. Please budget plenty extra for regular professional grooming care so that Ridley never has to fear or experience severe neglect again.

Update: Paxton & Pierce were adopted on June 29th! Keeping soul-mates and bonded pairs together is an important part of our no-kill work for animals. Our experience is that separating bonded animals can result in behavior problems and severe depression. But mostly, their joy and sense of belonging and security are wrapped up in large part in each other, and we respect and honor these strong relationships. We rescued Paxton & Pierce from another shelter. They are brothers, neutered, very attractive Papillons, about 2 years of age. Paxton & Pierce have sunny personalities, but they are shy with strangers. For gentle people who win their trust, the boys are quite warm-hearted and affectionate. Please plan on and budget for regular grooming care. Paxton & Pierce are compatible with other friendly dogs. They debut for adoption today and you can ask for them by name at our front desk.

Update: Debi was adopted on June 30th! Debi debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA and she is ready to dazzle you. She is a cheery, happy-go-lucky young girl with a very positive outlook. Debi is most likely an Australian Terrier mix. She is spayed and just a year of age. She enjoys other sweet dogs and needs regular brushing and grooming. We rescued Debi from another shelter.

Update: Gracie was adopted on June 28th! This puppy has been the victim of repeated beatings. Unsure of people, and with very low self-esteem, the world does not seem like such a loving place. But Gracie wants to believe in people. We hope this feature helps attract a gentle, caring, tender person or couple to help her emerge from her shell. Gracie is a beautiful Pointer mix, spayed female, 9 months of age. We rescued her from another shelter. Gracie debuts for adoption today.

Update: Nemo was adopted on June 29th! Nemo loves sharing his good cheer with you. He is a radiant young boy with a fun, light-hearted personality. Nemo is a very cute Chihuahua, neutered, about 2 years young. We rescued him from another shelter, so we do not have much background information on him. But we know he enjoys people and other friendly dogs very much. Nemo debuts for adoption today.

Update: Toby was adopted on June 26th! Toby is a peppy youngster, full of great charm. He is a Toy & Terrier mix, neutered male, just a year of age (and still very puppy-like). Toby was transferred to us from another rescue group. Since he was in a foster home there, we know a lot about his temperament. Besides being good with dogs, he is reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door), crate-trained, and compatible with cats and kind children. Please budget extra for regular grooming care. Update: Stewart was adopted on June 26th! Stewart is fortunate to still be alive. Alone in an abandoned apartment for 3 weeks, he was starving and living in filth when found and rescued by neighbors. But Stewart still believes in people. In fact, he adores humans, always ready for attention, and he loves to snuggle under your chin when you hold him. Stewart is an American guinea pig with distinguished Calico coloring. He is approximately one year of age. Please only consider Stewart (or any other companion animal) if you can make a lifetime commitment to him. In Stewart's case, this means being willing and able to care for him for the next 7 years, perhaps longer. Stewart is available for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Update: Baby was adopted on June 25th! As you can see in his portrait, Baby's eyes carefully assess every new person, determining whether they bring kindness or cruelty. He is a sensitive youngster, affectionate with gentle people he knows and trusts. Baby was transferred to us from another rescue group. He is reportedly a Terrier & Border Collie mix. He is neutered, about one year of age, and debuting for adoption today. Baby is well-behaved, reportedly housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with cats and dogs and older children. Update: Tigger was adopted on June 26th! Tigger's positive outlook and happy disposition have served him especially well lately, especially when his previous owner died and he lost the only home he ever knew. Starting over as a senior is hard to do, but life goes on and Tigger is showing us his curious nature. He enjoys meeting new people and earning their adoration. Tigger is reportedly a Border Terrier & Toy mix. He is neutered, about 12 years of age, debuting for adoption today. Besides being good with other dogs, he is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained, and enjoys playing fetch.

Update: Sadie was adopted on August 5th! Sadie's sunny personality is perfectly evident in her portrait. Her eyes and smile simply shine! This well-behaved, very friendly girl enjoys cats and dogs and kind children. Sadie is a Beagle & Hound mix, medium-size, spayed, approximately 7 years of age. She is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained. Sadie needed us due to someone in her previous family being allergic to her. She did absolutely nothing wrong. Update: PB & Winson were adopted on June 26th! PB & Winson are cheerful, jolly seniors. Soul-mates, they are so strongly bonded it would be cruel to separate them. PB is a girl, a Shih-Tzu of about 10 years of age. Winson is a boy, a Yorkshire Terrier of about 12 years. Both PB & Winson are good with other dogs, and they are reportedly fine with kind children too. In addition, both are reportedly crate-trained and experienced with doggie doors, but sometimes have accidents inside the house. (Housetraining is based on a stable lifestyle routine and positive reinforcement.) PB & Winson debut for adoption today. Please plan to keep them together forever and budget extra for regular grooming care.

Update: Olivia was adopted on June 26th! Olivia is a tiny girl, but she has lots of unconditional love to share with you. She is a darling Longhair Chihuahua mix, spayed, 3 years young, debuting for adoption today. Besides being good with other sweet dogs and mature children, she is reportedly housetrained and crate-trained. Olivia needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship. We believe Olivia will do best in a quieter home where she can be showered with attention and adoration.

Update: Susan was adopted on June 26th! Tender-hearted and shy, little Susan feels most confident around soft-spoken, quiet-natured people. She is a precious Terrier & Toy mix, spayed female, approximately 5 months of age. Susan needed us after being surrendered by her previous owner, reportedly due to "not housebroken". But housetraining takes time, patience, good direction, and a stable lifestyle routine. Susan enjoys other sweet dogs, and being with other dogs usually helps with her confidence level too. Update: Clifford was adopted on September 2nd! Cute and exuberant, Clifford is an athletic puppy who craves playtime. He is a medium size Heinz 57 with Whippet, neutered male, about 9 months of age. We rescued Clifford from another shelter, but we know about his behaviors from his foster home after being rescued. He is housetrained (with a doggie door), crate-trained, and compatible with kids and dogs. Clifford will do best with dog obedience training to help channel his high energy into good behavior.

Update: Honey Bun was adopted on June 28th! Though very shy with strangers and new situations, Honey Bun is very affectionate and loyal to those she loves and trusts. She is a tender-hearted girl who will do best in a gentle home. Honey Bun is a lovely Australian Cattle Dog mix, spayed, about 6-7 years of age. She needed us because her previous owner lost the family home. Honey Bun reportedly enjoys kind, mature children. Though reportedly housetrained, her previous owner admitted to keeping her in the backyard day and night, which is unacceptable in our desert climate. Please be patient with Honey Bun and help her adjust to living predominantly indoors with you as a proper, adored member of the family.

Update: Schroeder was adopted on June 24th! Schroeder is an attentive young guinea pig, one of seven currently available for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is very attractive with light butterscotch coloring, an American & English smooth coat mix, approximately one year of age. Schroeder has been entertaining us with his little dances. "Popcorning" is the term for a gleeful guinea pig expressing joy, bouncing up, often with a cooing sound, and often when we bring him his fresh daily veggies. He needed us when his previous owners decided they just did not want him anymore. Like all companion animals, Schroeder needs a committed, lifelong home. Please only consider him if you can commit to him joining your family for the next 7 plus years. Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Schroeder by name.

Update: Rusty was adopted on November 5th! The bigger dogs, especially mixed breeds, have such a harder time attracting adopters, even when they have beaming, fun-loving natures like Rusty . Rusty came to us from another rescue because he was there a long time, mistakenly overlooked by their visitors. We are hoping with his jazzy new portrait and web presence with us that we will score him a tremendous new home in short order. Rusty is a Heinz 57 with brilliant red coloring, most likely a Retriever and Chow Chow mix. He is neutered, 2 years young, and debuting for adoption today. Besides his wonderful temperament and good looks, he is well-behaved. He is housetrained (with a doggie door) and compatible with dogs and kind children. Update: Dolly was adopted on June 26th! We rescued Dolly from another shelter and she was covered in knots, tangles, and filth. What a gem emerged once she was cleaned up! Groomed by a professional donating services to support animal rescue, Dolly now looks the way God intended, and she is stunningly adorable. Dolly is a mix of Terrier & Lhasa Apso, spayed female, about 4 years of age. She really likes other friendly dogs and needs continued periodic grooming care for her health and appearance. Dolly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Savannah was adopted on June 28th! Savannah's brilliant smile can melt even hearts of ice or stone. Affectionate, devoted, intelligent -- she is blessed with so many qualities that make for an exceptional companion and new family member. Savannah is an Australian Shepherd mix, spayed female, 2 years of age. She enjoys other friendly dogs and she is reportedly compatible with kind children. Please note she is shy with strangers, but she warms up beautifully with those she knows and trusts. Savannah was transferred to us from another rescue group. She is already crate-trained, but only partially housetrained, so please give her the good direction she needs to complete housetraining so she can live indoors with you as a cherished member of the family.

Update: Lilly was adopted on June 25th! Lilly is a gorgeous puppy with a very loving, social nature. She is a Pomeranian, spayed female, 8 months of age, debuting for adoption today. Lilly enjoys snuggling with you and gets distressed when left alone. She lost her previous home due to "excessive barking". She is crate-trained, but not yet fully housetrained (so your patience and good guidance are needed). Lilly is good with other sweet dogs and needs regular professional grooming care.

Update: Wolfie was adopted on July 16th! Wolfie's charms run very deep once you begin spending time with her. Intelligent and completely endearing, you can tell that she gives her whole heart to those she knows and trusts. Wolfie is a medium-size Australian Cattle Dog mix with warm eyes. She is spayed and just 2 years young. Wolfie is very good with most other dogs. Another dog in the home with her will help keep her engaged. We rescued her from a rescue organization that was closing. Please ask for Wolfie by name and spend time with her in our courtyard. She is ready for a forever home with you today.

Update: Zak was adopted on August 2nd! Zak is a bright-eyed boy who will do best in an experienced home. He is quite cheery and he has a sparkling personality. Zak is a Maltese mix, neutered male, approximately 4 years of age. Zak is compatible with other dogs and needs regular grooming care, so please plan and budget accordingly. He lost his previous home because he play-bites and could be nippy with children. An experienced owner though can give him gentle, firm guidance to channel his energies and behaviors properly . (Adult-only home required.) Please come meet Zak . He has been waiting anxiously for almost 2 months to be adopted into a loving home.

Update: Marley was adopted on June 23rd! Marley is getting on in his years, but he continues to enjoy very much life's little pleasures, like playing and swimming and sitting with you. He is a good-looking and good-natured Yellow Labrador Retriever, neutered male, 7 years of age. We rescued Marley from another shelter. He likes other well-behaved and friendly dogs, especially those who don't try to jump on him. Marley is on medication for hypothyroid, and this is a medication he needs to remain on for the rest of his life. At the time of rescue this was unknown, but after we discovered his needs he has been feeling much better and blooming.

Update: Aloha was adopted on June 26th! Aloha is a darling puppy with a lovely, innocent soul. She is playful and engaging, surprisingly vivacious for her tiny size. Aloha is most likely a Chihuahua & Terrier mix. She is spayed and approximately 5 months of age. Please be sure to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety and protection. Aloha needed us after being abandoned on the streets. She likes other sweet dogs and she shows signs of both housetraining and crate-training (though it is not clear if she is fully housetrained yet or not). This spirited girl, like all companion animals, needs a lifelong home that she can count on. Please only consider her (or any other pet) if you are willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to her joining your family.

Update: Clancy was adopted on June 21st! A handsome little showman, Clancy is entertaining and comical and fun-loving. He is a Cairn Terrier mix with a leonine mane, neutered male, about 3 years young. We rescued Clancy from another shelter, so we have little background information on him. But we know he enjoys other friendly dogs and needs regular brushing and grooming. Clancy debuts for adoption today. Please visit and ask for this cute boy by name.

Silver Dollar is both a loving sweetheart and a grumpy grouch. Even though a tiny boy he does not hesitate to defend himself when he believes harm is about to come his way again, usually from strangers or quick movements. Recovering from his previous abuse and cruelty will take time and patience in an experienced, adult-only home. Silver Dollar is a Yorkshire Terrier, neutered male, at least 7 years of age, debuting for adoption today. He enjoys other dogs and needs regular grooming care. Besides recovering from past abuse, Silver Dollar has another special need. He has no teeth and requires a soft food diet. Please consult with your veterinarian for guidance. Update: Zachary was adopted on July 30th! Zachary wants and needs lots of your attention, reassurance, and adoration. He is an engaging, chatty boy who sometimes stands on his hind legs. Zachary is a Silky Terrier & Schnauzer mix, neutered male, about 4 years of age. He is good with other sweet and friendly dogs, and needs regular brushing and grooming care. Update: Nikki was adopted on June 21st! Nikki is a sensitive puppy, mild mannered (especially considering her young age), attentive, and loving. She is compatible with kind children and some dogs. In addition, she is crate-trained and partially housetrained. (A stable routine and your good guidance should complete her housetraining in short order.) Nikki is a Heinz 57 with adorable front-folding ears. She is most likely a mix of Bully & Retriever, spayed, approximately 7 months of age, debuting for adoption today. Update: Christa was adopted on June 30th! Curious and intelligent, Christa is eager to please. She is gorgeous inside and out, with a colorful personality to match her stunning chocolate and beige markings. Christa is most likely a German Shorthair Pointer and Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. She is spayed and about 2 years young. Please plan on plenty of time with her daily for walks and play to engage her mind and body. We rescued her from another shelter. Update: Jesse was adopted on June 21st! A tiny boy with a big personality, Jesse is a dazzling youngster who is ready to steal your heart. He is a tri-color Yorkshire Terrier and Chihuahua mix, neutered male, 2 years of age. We rescued Jesse from another shelter, so we only have limited background information on him. But we know he enjoys other sweet dogs and that he needs regular grooming care. Jesse debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Gideon was adopted on July 2nd! Gideon is an exceptionally attractive puppy, energetic and athletic. He is a Jack Russell Terrier, neutered male, about 10 months of age. Please be sure to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety and protection. Gideon needed us when his previous owner became too ill to care for him any longer. Gideon likes some other dogs, but he is picky who he likes. He will do best with a more active lifestyle. Jack Russell Terrier knowledge and/or experience is preferred.

Update: Lady was adopted on June 19th! The list of amazing qualities about Lady would run more than a mile long. Intelligent, beautiful, charismatic, and affectionate, we find her to be completely irresistible. Lady is a Border Collie mix, spayed, about 18 months young. Besides being good with other sweet dogs, she is reportedly housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with kind children. Lady needed us because her previous owner did not have enough time for her. Update: Phillip was adopted on June 26th! Like many other puppies recently featured on this site, Phillip was surrendered to Nevada SPCA when his previous owner would not or could not provide the emergency care needed to save his life after he contracted the deadly parvo virus. We had extensive medical care provided for Phillip and, fortunately, he made a full recovery. He is an energetic puppy with a very sweet and lovable temperament. Phillip is a Dachshund & Terrier mix, with attractive dark brown coloring, neutered male, about 4 months of age. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety and protection. Phillip enjoys other sweet dogs and needs regular brushing and grooming. Phillip debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Update: Francine was adopted on July 3rd! Francine yearns for a stable, loving, gentle home environment. But she must wonder if she ever dares trusting people again. Someone hurt her physically and emotionally, quick movements scaring her that she is about to get hit or kicked again. Francine is a precious, older girl, most likely a Toy Poodle mix. She is spayed, about 9 years of age, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We rescued Francine from another shelter, so we do not have much background information on her. We know she needs regular grooming care and we know she has a low-grade heart murmur (but medication is not needed at this time). Francine enjoys other sweet and friendly dogs.

Update: Vance was adopted on November 2nd! Vance is an especially affectionate, friendly, and fun-loving boy. Spend time with him in our courtyard and let him charm you with his outgoing personality. Vance is a brindle, golden-eyed Retriever mix, perhaps with Boxer or Bully, neutered male, about 2 years young. We rescued him from another shelter, so we do not have much background information on him. Vance debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Addendum: Vance was adopted in July, but returned in September due to chasing cats and being nervous around young children when they try to touch his hind end or pick up his back legs.  His previous owner reported that he is housetrained, crate-trained,  good with female dogs his size, great on car rides, and superbly affectionate with adults.

Update: Ozzie & Harriet were adopted on June 19th! Ozzie & Harriet were dumped at a gas station. Both very sick with the parvo virus, they were weakly trying to scramble out of the way of vehicles. Fortunately for this brother and sister pair, one of our volunteers pulled up and caught both of them before further harm could come their way. We had extensive medical treatment for both Ozzie & Harriet and they made full recoveries. They are Cocker Spaniel puppies, spayed/neutered, and approximately 6 months of age. Ozzie & Harriet debut for adoption today. We prefer to adopt them together, as their bond has strengthened as they have survived against all odds together. They need regular professional grooming care, so please budget extra accordingly. Our ability to provide emergency medical care for animals in extreme need, like Ozzie & Harriet , is due solely to compassionate people like you who donate money to Nevada SPCA. Update 2: Manny was adopted on June 25th! Update: Jack and Moe were adopted on June 19th! Manny, Moe, & Jack are nicknamed " The Mischievous Puppies " due to their adventurous, curious natures. These brothers needed us when their previous owner just said he could not keep them any longer. Please be sure to puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection. The Mischievous Puppies are Heinz 57s, perhaps with Shepherd & Retriever, expected to grow to medium or large size. They are neutered, 3-4 months of age, and debuting for adoption today. They enjoy other playful dogs and they will need lots of patience and good guidance from you to develop into well-balanced adults. The Mischievous Puppies can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair, or the trio, for lifelong companionship.

Update: Roxy was adopted on June 17th! Roxy is a gorgeous little sweetheart who lost her previous home due to being "too active". She is a jazzy, fun-loving, sometimes silly girl with a cheerful nature. Roxy is a Cockapoo, spayed female, about 3 years young. She adores other friendly dogs and needs regular professional grooming care. She is reportedly housetrained (with a doggie door). We believe Roxy may do best in a home with another outgoing, sweet dog. Please set aside plenty of time to play with her and shower her with affection daily.

Update: Boomer was adopted on June 17th! Some media periodically report improvements in the economy, indicating that the home foreclosure crisis may be coming to an end. But this is not our experience. Instead, we continue seeing increases in animals in need due to home foreclosures. For example, Boomer is a magnificent youngster who needed us when his previous owner lost the family home. He is a fun, friendly, goofy boy, full of innocence. Boomer is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, neutered male, just 2 years of age, and he is debuting for adoption today. He loves everyone. We know he is good with other dogs and he is reportedly compatible with cats and kind children of all ages too. Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Boomer by name.
