Promise to love us every single day of our lives.

Bella

Bonita

Guapa

Linda
These four beautiful baby girls were found outdoors, alone, with their mom nowhere in sight.

We placed them in a loving foster home where they have been raised and socialized (with cats and a small dog) and showered with affection.

The girls -- Bella, Bonita, Guapa, and Linda -- are now well-adjusted, about 4 months of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Here is personality information on the girls, as related by their foster family:

Bella loves to be pampered.  She will cry and fuss if things just aren't right and she needs more attention.

Bonita is inquisitive and likes to follow you around from room-to-room.  She may especially do best in a home with another cat.

Guapa is exceptionally loving and gives you nose kisses.

Linda is very athletic and spunky, but when it's time to rest she purrs heartily in your arms.

The girls can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong companionship.  Also, please be sure to kitten-proof your home for their safety.

I'm looking with great anticipation for my soul-mate!

Joseph knows his future is bright.

Looking into his innocent, enthusiastic eyes, we are reminded how important it is that people never fail him again.  (Joseph was left behind by his previous owners when they moved away.)

Joseph is an attractive Pomeranian mix, approximately 5-7 years of age, a neutered boy, good with dogs & older kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for capturing his hopeful spirit in this brand new portrait.

I love to hide toys all around the house.

Lilly likes to hide her toys just as much as she likes to play with them.

She is a super sweet, vivacious baby girl, a Toy & Chihuahua mix, about 4 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for her safety.

Lilly has been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since her rescue as a newborn.

She is good with dogs, cats, and older kids.

It's not too late for me to have a fresh start.

Phil is a tiny chocolate Chihuahua who craves love and reassurance.

In his previous home the kids were reportedly allergic to him, so he was banished to living exclusively outdoors, day and night, which is unacceptable.

Please welcome Phil into your life, your heart, and your home, letting him know that he is valued and safe.

Phil is about 10 years of age, a neutered gentleman, good with dogs and kids, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

I'm begging for your love.

Cecil pines for adoration and a stable forever home.

He is a very humble sweetheart, a gentle soul, and he gets along beautifully with people and dogs.

Cecil is a blond & white Chihuahua, about 7 years of age, a neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

We rescued Cecil from another shelter.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these touching portraits to help him find his hero.

Your kindness means the world to me.

Prince Bob has the majestic appearance of a bobcat and we believe he is a Pixie-Bob mix -- a breed some believe to have bobcat mixing.

However, his temperament is remarkably gentle and humble.  Prince Bob sits patiently, watching you carefully, and then becomes so happy when you come over to pet him and talk to him sweetly.

He is about 5 years of age, a neutered boy, good with other cats, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

At the time of rescue Prince Bob had been abandoned at a veterinary hospital with extreme neglect.

We shaved away his matted coat to give him a fresh start, and he is enjoying premium cat food and gaining weight.

I would love to be your little angel.

Giovanni is a baby boy with irresistible charm.

We are overjoyed that his bubbly personality is emerging and that he is adjusting so quickly to life with one eye.

At the time of rescue Giovanni was at another shelter with a severely lacerated right eye that was far beyond being able to repair.  We had his eye removed and he is no longer in pain.

Giovanni is a small Heinz 57 puppy, most likely an Italian Greyhound mix, about 5 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

He loves playing with other dogs.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

I just want to be loved.

Stephanie is dreaming and wondering if the magic of the holiday season will bring her a loving, forever home.

She is an incredibly sweet and pretty little lady, a tri-color Chihuahua mix, 1 year young, spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Stephanie is good with dogs and children, and she is reportedly crate-trained.

She needed us when her previous owners moved away without her.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for showcasing her loving nature in this brand new portrait.

They are telling me not to give up. There is hope?

Topher is a serene older boy with a broken heart.

At the time of rescue he was at another shelter, after being found alone on the Vegas streets, and his previous owner failed to reclaim him.

Volunteers and staff are working to counter his feelings of rejection, by holding him and walking him, and by telling him that he is wanted and adorable.

Topher is a Dachshund, about 10 years of age, neutered, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Please help us find him a hero who will shower him with love and compassion in a gentle home environment.

How can we find loving, stable, indoor-only homes?

Luci

Sally
Luci and Sally are darling and athletic baby girls, sisters,  debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

They are light orange tabby kittens, now 4 months of age and spayed.  They have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since their rescue.  The girls were found under a house as newborns.

Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.

Luci and Sally can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong companionship.

I'm healing, body and soul, and I am now ready for a loving, forever home.

Beatrice is a young sweetheart and she is blooming beautifully!

At the time of rescue earlier this autumn she was roaming the Vegas streets in emaciated condition with no sign of responsible ownership.

Physically, Beatrice is steadily gaining weight and energy with premium food.

Emotionally, she is warming up to people she knows and basking in being kindly touched.

Beatrice is a blond Bully mix, about 3 years of age, now spayed and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

I've come a long way, baby.

Anne Marie has endless hours of enjoyment in wading pools.  She loves playing in the water, lounging on pool steps, and dancing in the sprinklers.

Anne Marie is a medium-size, young Dutch Shepherd mix with beautiful tiger/brindle coloring, about 2 years of age, a spayed girl, housetrained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Thanks to many hours of compassion from volunteers, Anne Marie has made a wonderful recovery from abuse.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for celebrating her progress with this gorgeous new portrait to help her find a responsible, loving forever home.

Won't you look into my eyes and consider me?

Rufus loves to sneak doggie kisses on your chin and cheeks.

His expressive eyes reveal his character and he enjoys people and dogs and cats.

Rufus is a Shih-Tzu, 2 years young, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming for him.

Rufus needed us because his previous owner's declining health.

Don't let the parade pass me by.

Axel is a cute junior puppy who does not want to miss out on any fun.  Sometimes when he rests he wears this worried expression, like he's watching the parade marching away without him.

We look forward to the day when Axel realizes he is loved and safe in a forever home.

Axel is a Labrador Retriever mix, about 9 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

He enjoys playing with other dogs, and perhaps the more social his new home, the better.

I didn't know if there was any hope left for me.

Patty's recovery has been remarkable and she triumphantly debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

She is a regal little Pomeranian, almost 9 years of age, spayed, and good with other sweet dogs.

At the time of her rescue many months ago from extreme neglect, Patty was suffering from skin infections (due to untreated allergies) that resulted in extensive hair loss and small scabs all over her body.  In addition, her spirit was dulled (likely from malnutrition) and she had dental pain.

Patty has slowly and steadily recovered beautifully, receiving the veterinary care and dental cleaning (and 14 teeth extractions) she needed, and she is now ready to join a loving, forever home.

Please help us find Patty a home where she will be cherished dearly.

I would like to create a beautiful bond with you, for life.

Emily is a gorgeous and gentle little lady who enjoys bonding with people, building a relationship based on trust and respect.

She is a Hot Tot mix bunny, about 4 years of age, now spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in the Lovebugs Room.

Emily was found outdoors abandoned in an industrial area of Vegas at the time of rescue.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for showcasing her so elegantly in this portrait to help her find a responsible, loving, indoor-only, forever home.

We are treasures, not trash.

Pearl

Topaz
In the early afternoon of September 9, a woman was witnessed throwing a purple suitcase (below) into the dumpster of a veterinary hospital.

Later that afternoon, as staff approached the dumpster, they could hear faint screams and cries.  They were horrified to realize the sounds of terror were coming from the purple suitcase and they rushed to retrieve it.  They unzipped it and found two cats inside in severe heat distress and trauma.  They urgently cooled the cats and saved them from heat stroke.

For the past 10 weeks, the cats -- now named Pearl and Topaz -- have been recovering well from dehydration.  They are now healthy, spayed/neutered, and triumphantly debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Pet'ographique generously helped us celebrate their recoveries with these elegant portraits to emphasize that they are treasures, not trash.

Pearl is a graceful young grey & white shorthair with jewel-like eyes, about 3 years of age.  She is bashful and buries her head in your arms when you hold her.  She is compatible with other sweet cats.

Topaz is a leonine, medium-hair grey, previously declawed, about 5 years of age.  He loves gentle attention and napping in cozy cat beds.  Though he loves people, he is aggressive with other cats and needs to be the only cat in the home.

Please help us find stable, indoor-only, kind forever homes for Pearl and Topaz.

Do you have a dog who could be my big sister or brother?

Kara's expression is heartbreaking -- she is just a baby but she scans the eyes of everyone she meets carefully to try and read whether they intend her any harm.

Our information is third-hand, but indicated she was the victim of physical violence and emotional cruelty (that included food deprivation as punishment).

Kara, though, has enormous loving potential.  She is already making progress with volunteers and staff, and she is now ready to continue blooming in a loving, stable, forever home.

Kara is a "Bullador" puppy (Bully & Labrador Retriever), 6 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).

She does best with other dogs around to comfort her.

Please help us find Kara a hero.

Gruber and Vector, tiger tabby baby brothers now ready for adoption together.

Gruber

Vector
Gruber and his brother, Vector, are strongly bonded tiger tabby kittens now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. They are now 4 months of age and neutered.  Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.

At the time of rescue they were found outdoors without a mother.

Gruber & Vector are inseparable -- they cuddle & groom each other, follow each other around, and love playing games of chase.

We usually don't require kittens to be adopted together, but they are an exception and they need to remain together for life.

Please visit and ask for these social baby boys by name.

I've been good. Can I please have a loving, forever home in time for Christmas?

Stanley has been waiting patiently for months for a hero.  At the time of rescue earlier this year he was found tied to a post along a walking trail in a park.

Stanley is charming and very affectionate with those he gets to know, which is one of the reasons he is a favorite of many volunteers.

Stanley may be fine with large dogs, but he cannot be around small animals.

Stanley is a pumpkin brindle Bully mix, almost 8 years of age, neutered boy, eagerly awaiting adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these remarkable portraits to help Stanley.

The Fantastic Four debuting for adoption today!

Bobby, baby boy

Joe, baby boy

Tim, baby boy

Tina, baby girl
These four angels have been lovingly raised and socialized in a caring foster home since their rescue as homeless newborns.

They are now about 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.

Tina and her three brothers -- Bobby, Joe, and Tim -- are "The Fantastic Four".  Their foster parent describes them individually as follows:

Bobby, a baby boy.  He loves to explore new rooms and toys.  He has quiet confidence and an independent streak.  He is very enthusiastic for his daily treats.

Joe, a baby boy.  He adores being in your lap and likes to follow you around the house.  Some of his favorite activities are chasing his siblings and playing with feather toys.

Tim, a baby boy.  He is quite spunky and can spend hours running through the kitty tubes to play peek-a-boo with his siblings.  When it's time to relax, you can count on him to find the coziest bed.

Tina, a baby girl.  She enjoys falling asleep on your chest, purring heartily.  She is very social and lovable.

These adorable kittens can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.

I belong in your arms.

Little Frank is happiest when he's being held in your arms.  He is 12 years of age and craves reassurance and kindness.

Little Frank is a Chihuahua with a fox-like appearance, a neutered boy, good with other calm dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

At the time of rescue a man found him near a casino and he was in severe pain from trauma to his back (from an unknown cause).  Fortunately, x-rays showed that his back had not broken, and after a few weeks of rest & recuperation he bounced back beautifully.

Please help us find a hero who will shower Little Frank with love and attention.

Your gentle patience with us will help us reach our full loving potential.

China, baby girl

Rock, baby boy
China and her brother, Rock, are precious babies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   Please kitten-proof your home for their safety.

They were born outdoors to a feral mother, then rescued as newborns.  We placed them in a wonderful foster home for nurturing care and socialization.

Both China and Rock are still shy, but they have made enormous progress, and they are now ready for a gentle forever home where their socialization can continue.

They are 3 months of age and spayed/neutered.  China is a Siamese mix and Rock is a blue-eyed tuxedo.

They are closely bonded and we prefer to adopt them together for lifelong companionship.

Can I give all of my unconditional love to you?

Nina is a captivating baby girl who sees right into your heart when she looks in your eyes.

She is a gorgeous Boxer mix puppy, about 6 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

At the time of her rescue in early Autumn, Nina was perilously ill with parvo.  We had emergency medical care provided for her -- thanks to the incredible generosity of donors to our advanced medical care fund -- and Nina eventually made a full & complete recovery!

Nina is now bouncy and playful, and enthusiastic to begin her new life!

Two more of Alicia's Puppies debuting for adoption!

Beanie, baby boy

Cutie Pie, baby girl
Yesterday, their seven siblings debuted for adoption.  Today, Beanie and Cutie Pie are now ready for adoption too.

These two have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home.  They are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and eager to join loving, stable, forever homes.

Here are their descriptions from their foster mom:

Beanie, a baby boy.  He is mellow and bashful.  He loves to cuddle and be held close.  Larger dogs frighten him.

Cutie Pie, a baby girl.  She is spunky and playful.  She loves big dogs and kids and she is full of energy.

Alicia's Puppies debut for adoption today!

Chewie

Ginger

Macy

Max

Pansy

Romeo

Violet
At the time of rescue, Alicia, pictured below, was at another shelter with 10 puppies, just 3 days old.  We placed them into loving foster care for nurturing and socialization.

Seven of Alicia's babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption.  Three more remain in foster care for a bit longer.  Alicia herself, a young Chocolate Labrador Retriever & Weimaraner mix, will be ready for adoption soon too in the days to come.  (The puppies' father(s) is/are unknown.)

Their wonderful foster dad describes the babies as follows:

Chewie, a baby boy.  He is very independent and strong-willed.  He loves to explore his surroundings.  He listens well and needs lots of praise.

Ginger, a baby girl.  She has spurts of high energy playfulness followed by long moments of down time and she can be a picky eater.

Macy, a baby girl.  She is very docile and good-natured.  She will do best with another dog in the home for companionship.  She frightens easily and she is sensitive to scolding.

Max, a baby boy.  He is highly energetic and craves attention.  He needs lots of play toys.  He likes to sit at your feet.

Pansy, a baby girl.  She needs lots of attention and reassurance.  She scares easily and feels most confident being around other dogs.

Romeo, a baby boy.  He is loyal and loves being petted.  He likes to romp and play.  He listens well.

Violet, a baby girl.  She is inquisitive and needs lots of stimulation to keep her occupied, along with plenty of room to run and play.

These sweet puppies can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.
