Feeling safe is of utmost importance to me.

At the time of rescue this earnest little fellow's left eye was almost out of its socket, gauged while he reportedly tried to crawl underneath a fence to get away from the sound of a fire engine siren.  His previous owner could not afford veterinary care and surrendered him to Nevada SPCA.

We rushed him to a veterinary hospital and the veterinarian was able to save his eye.

Dasher is a tuxedo Chihuahua mix, well-behaved and very sweet, about 10 years of age and neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Dasher is good with dogs and reportedly compatible with kind children of all ages, plus housetrained too.

Dasher longs for a stable, peaceful home environment, free of loud noises.
