Perhaps I stayed in the street so they would come back and find me.

What was this big girl doing in the middle of the street without any sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID)?

A man barely missed running over her.  Fortunately, he stopped the car, helped her in, and brought her to safety.

We named her Wonder and she happily debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Wonder is a lovely Labrador Retriever, about 7 years of age, spayed, and blessed with a cheery personality.

Wonder is currently 124 pounds.  She needs to stay on a safe, slow weight reduction plan in a new, forever home.
