Firetruck

We are so proud of the recovery this sweetheart has made since his rescue.

Firetruck had been in an abandoned house that caught fire.  Neighbors, who did not know he was inside, saw him escape.

Fortunately, he had no major burns.  But besides being covered in soot and smelling of smoke, he was very traumatized and it took him a couple of days to calm down and accept our petting and care.

Though still shy, Firetruck is now trusting us and enjoying human touch and being spoken to.

Please ask for Firetruck by name when you visit.
