Maybe I am tiny, but I have a big spirit for adventure.

Update: Furdinand was adopted on December 15th!

We named this baby boy "Furdinand" in tribute to the great European emperors and explorers because of his adventurous, playful nature.  (The name "Ferdinand" is especially meaningful, a combination of "peace" and "journey".)

Furdinand debuts for adoption today.  He is a precious Chihuahua puppy with hazel eyes, neutered, and approximately 3 months of age.

At the time of rescue he was being handed around, unwanted, from friend to friend, the sad game like 'musical chairs' where the animals always seem to come up short (as we have written about many times before on this site).

Furdinand was barely old enough to be away from his mama at the time, so we put him in a loving foster home, and for the past several weeks he has been socialized and attended to with tender care.

Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.  And please only consider Furdinand if you are willing and able to make a lifetime commitment to him so that he is never handed away again.
