My mommy had the courage to save me from beatings.

Update: Milo was adopted on October 16th!

Milo needed us when his owner realized she could not protect him from abuse from multiple males inside the family home.

He is a very loving, attractive, good-natured boy with expressive eyes, pleading for understanding and peace-of-mind.

Milo is a Longhair Dachshund, neutered, about 4 years of age, debuting for adoption today.

While he is crate-trained and reportedly knows how to use a doggie door, Milo may need your help and patience to complete housetraining.  (He reportedly sometimes marked inside the house, but this was prior to us having him neutered.)

Milo is compatible with other dogs and may do best in a home with another dog.  Dachshund knowledge and/or experience is preferred for his adoption.
