Please help me fit into this world.
Update: Patches was adopted on September 6th!Patches is an exceptionally sensitive, gentle girl.
Despite staff and volunteers showing her kindness and a stable routine, she is terrified here, wondering whether she is safe and how she belongs.
This fear of new people and new situations is surprisingly common, and usually stems from a lack of proper socialization during the early stages of puppyhood.
Patches is just a year of age, almost a baby still herself. She has tremendous potential and we know she will blossom in a quiet, loving home.
Patches is a lovely blend of several breeds, perhaps including Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog, and her bright hazel eyes are mesmerizing. She is spayed and ready for adoption today.
She is compatible with other dogs, and may do best in a home with another dog (or dogs).
Patches needed us due to her previous owner's financial hardship.
