I am an innocent, cheery boy who never again wants to experience the trauma of rejection.

Update: Oak was adopted on June 21st!

Temperatures soaring above 100 degrees, and some fool chooses to abandon this wonderful dog by tying him to a tree and walking away, forever.

Fortunately, one of our staff found him before he went into full heat stroke.

Oak is very fun-loving, seemingly still believing in the goodness of people.

He is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix, neutered, about 2 years of age.

Oak may do best with basic dog training to help channel his energy into good behaviors. He is smart and eager to please, so we believe he will catch on quickly.

Please come meet and adopt him and show him the meaning of a lifetime commitment.
