Please join us Saturday afternoon for a conference on the local animal overpopulation crisis.

Representatives from animal protection groups and shelters, along with animal lovers across the valley, are getting together Saturday, September 19th, at Flamingo Library Theater (1401 E. Flamingo, Las Vegas), from 1pm-5pm.

The conference is titled "Solving the Overpopulation Problem Locally." It is hosted by Las Vegas Valley Humane Society and Nevada Voters for Animals, and additionally co-hosted by Heaven Can Wait, Nevada SPCA, and The Animal Foundation.

Attendance is free and no RSVP is required.

Panelists will discuss the state of the overpopulation crisis, followed by efforts to reduce the number of animals going into shelters and solutions to increase the number of animals being adopted (or returned to owners) from shelters.
