My precious babies and I were stuffed in a box and thrown away.

Update: June was adopted on October 17th!

It is a deeply sad reality that it is necessary to look in every dumpster and roadside box.

There are frequently angels crammed inside, disposed of callously and cruelly.

June and her four 5-week old babies were thrown out with the trash. One of our staff found them before they were hauled away by a garbage truck.

They had advanced upper respiratory illness. We had medical care provided for them, but only June and one of her babies survived.

June is nearly a baby still herself at just 18 months of age. After her recovery, we had her spayed, and she is now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

June is primarily white and medium-hair, but she has lovely Calico markings around her face. She is a petite girl, humble and unassuming.

She gets along well with other sweet cats and we believe she will do best in a quieter home.

Please ask for her by name in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms at Nevada SPCA. She and the other 200 spayed/neutered cats available for adoption all need, require, and deserve strictly indoor-only homes where they will safely and properly be cherished members of their new families.
