I am beginning to blossom in light of my wonderful new opportunity for a life full of love and compassion.

We rescued Angelika from another shelter. Her background remains a mystery, but it is clear she experienced some very dark days.

Her coat was so matted and tangled it could not be saved by a professional groomer. So we had her body shaved down to the skin so she would be clean and feel better.

Angelika has now been with us for about two weeks. As she recovers, her personality is emerging.

She is both sweet and feisty, but especially even-tempered considering all of the care and fussing we have been giving her.

A little girl who has missed too many meals, Angelika is showing great passion for the canned cat food which is fed as a treat in the afternoons (in addition to the free feeding of kibble). When she hears the can open, she bounces to us with all her might.

Angelika is now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Please ask for her by name at the Cat Condos, the free-roaming playrooms for cats.

She is a beautiful, medium-hair Red Tabby, spayed, and approximately 4 years of age. Like all of the rescued cats, she requires a strictly indoor only home so that she never again has to risk fending for herself on the mean streets.
